Why Mushrooms? πŸ„ My Favorite Turkish Latte Recipe

Turkish Latte

This is one of my favorite afternoon pick me ups.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water (cold)

  • 1/2 cup nut milk (I use oat or almond milk)

  • 1 tablespoon extra finely ground coffee (powder consistency) - I use Four Sigmatic's Instant Mushroom Coffee With Lion's Mane

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom (or 1 cardamom pod, crushed)

  • dash of cinnamon

  • Optional: 1 teaspoon sugar, honey, or agave

Directions

  1. Bring water and nut milk to a slight boil.

  2. Remove from heat and add coffee and cinnamon, cardamom (and sweetener if you choose)

  3. Return saucepan to heat and allow to come to a boil. Remove from heat when coffee foams.

  4. )Use a Wisk - this is my favorite one from amazon (Coffee Frother)
